Brydon, Swearengen & England’s shareholder and attorney Brian McCartney was recently elected as the Chairman of the Legal Committee of NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association during the Committee’s March 9 meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. NTCA is the premier association representing nearly 900 independent, community-based telecommunications companies serving rural and small-town America. The legal committee reviews legal developments affecting NTCA members. McCartney practices administrative, corporate, and regulatory law with an emphasis in the areas of telecommunications and energy. He also is co-author of the chapter on administrative rules and rulemaking in the Missouri Bar’s Administrative Law desk book.
