Epple Competes in Vintage Car Rally

BSE Paralegal Lorene Epple (in yellow jacket), took on a new adventure and competed as driver in a family 1964 Ford Falcon in the 2019 Coker Tire Challenge (along with her Navigator, Mallory).  The Coker Challenge is a precise timed car Rally over 3 days.  This was Lorene’s first vintage car rally of which she came in at 7th place and scored two Aces (perfect scores) over the 3 days.

BSE shareholder Erin Wiseman was recently featured in the Jefferson City News Tribune in regard to her admiration for Missouri Supreme Court Judge Mary Rhodes Russell,as a part of the recognition of the 100-year anniversary of Zonta International, a nonprofit organization that fights for women’s equality while providing a plethora of services to communities in dozens of countries.

Wiseman and Rehagen Attend SCG Legal Meeting

BSE shareholder Erin Wiseman and Stephen Rehagen recently attended the SCG Legal Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. at the Watergate Hotel on September 5 & 6. They attended various discussions throughout the course of the conference with a Capstone Session with Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein discussing 45 A Forty-Five Year Watergate Retrospective.

The bronze sculpture of Ceres, the Roman goddess of agriculture, fertility and a mother’s love of her children, was removed from the top of the Missouri Capitol dome on November 15 as part of a multi-million dollar renovation of the entire building.  The 10 foot tall, 2-ton statue will undergo repairs from damage sustained by lightning strikes.
