The Cole County chapter of the Jaycees traveled to Centertown this past weekend to swear in a new state team, present awards, and honor members who have committed to serving their communities throughout their lives. Brydon, Swearengen, & England shareholder Kinzi C. Harvis was sworn to the position of State Legal Counsel for the third year. In addition, each year at the State Winter Meeting three members of the public are chosen from nominees around the state for Outstanding Young Missourian’s (OYM) and presented with an award to recognize their leadership and service. This year Kinzi Harvis and Erin Wiseman nominated Jefferson City’s own Logan Gratz, who was presented as one of the years OYMs. Logan has been recognized by his peers many times over the years for his community involvement, including the Jefferson City Magazine award of Ones to Watch, the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce Scruggs Impact Award, and the Jefferson City Board of Realtors Community Achievement Award. Logan has made a difference not only in Jefferson City, but across the state of Missouri.
